Am I Eligible?

The NDIA makes decisions about who can access the NDIS based on the information they provide about their disability and how it impacts on their day to day life.

Support is available for eligible people living with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disability. Early intervention supports can also be provided for eligible people with disability or children with developmental delay.

To be eligible for NDIS you must fulfil the following

Early Intervention

Early intervention helps people with a disability that is likely to be with them for life but could be improved by getting some additional support now.

Residency

You need to live in Australia and be an Australian citizen, or have paperwork that gives you permission to live here permanently.

Disability

You need to have a permanent disability that: reduces your ability to participate effectively in activities, or perform tasks or actions, unless you have support, and affects your capacity for social and economic participation and you are likely to require support under the NDIS for a lifetime.

Age

You must be between 7 of 65.
